Dishwalla是一支来自美国加州圣巴巴拉市的非主流摇滚乐队乐队成立于1994年，迄今一共出版了五张专辑。乐队的名字Dishwalla来自于印度的一个俗语，意指使用非法设备破解卫星电视的加密信号并与邻居分享的人。Dishwalla的音乐属于post-grunge风格，他们将摇滚的深刻柔情与流行元素完美融合创作出一股新鲜的音乐风格。在90年代Dishwalla与着名的Semisonic、Gin Blossoms、Fastball一起被誉为音乐新潮流的先锋乐队。

1995年，Dishwalla乐队发行了他们的首张专辑Pet Your Friends，但是这张专辑在长达一年的时间里都在唱片店的货架上冷落蒙尘，直到专辑中的第三首单曲Counting Blue Cars在摇滚电台大受欢迎，登上Billboard杂志的Hot 100名单（名列第15位）并且横扫1996年的各大音乐排行榜。这张专辑也因此热卖，销量超过一百万张。
