披頭四、海灘男孩（The Beach Boys）和誘惑（The Temptations）、以及六零年代的比吉斯（The Bee Gees）、The Jackson 5、與在七零年代相當受歡迎的大地、風和火（Earth, Wind and Fire）被部分人認為也是另一種類型的男子音樂組合。(維基)
